In college, Ryan was the Captain of the Varsity Baseball Team. After graduating, he was drafted by the Atlanta Braves in the 12th round. He went on to play two seasons in their organization before shifting his focus to law.
After law school at South Carolina, Ryan returned to Charleston to join the firm. As part of his practice, Ryan represents attorneys, medical providers, accountants, real estate agents, insurance brokers and other professionals over malpractice claims and licensing issues. Ryan also has experience representing corporate clients and individual clients in an array of transactional matters, including commercial and residential real estate transactions, business formation and structuring, and asset sales and purchases. Ryan brings a unique perspective to his litigation and corporate practice as well as an increased level of discernment necessary to formulating viable resolutions under challenging scenarios.
