David focuses his practice on commercial litigation and professional liability. He spends a significant amount of time representing businesses and professionals in civil suits. He also speaks to groups including insurers, law schools, and organized professional associations about claim avoidance and mitigation.
In over 20 years of practice, David has tried cases throughout the state of South Carolina in state and federal courts. He has served on various state bar committees including the Judicial Qualifications Committee, Ethics Advisory Committee, and others. He has been selected in the past for South Carolina Super Lawyers® and The Best Lawyers in America® for Commercial Litigation.
David has represented attorneys and other professionals in various high profile suits. He also represents parties in licensure and regulatory proceedings. David is an active member of both the South Carolina and Georgia bars. He lives in Mt Pleasant, SC with his wife and two daughters and attends Seacoast Church.
