David focuses his practice on commercial litigation and professional liability. He spends a significant amount of time representing businesses and professionals in civil suits, including attorneys. He also speaks to groups including insurers, law schools, and organized professional associations about claim avoidance and mitigation.

In his nearly 20 years of practice, David has tried cases throughout the state of South Carolina in the circuit and federal courts. He has an AV rating and is a member of the International Association of Defense Counsel. David is a former member of the South Carolina State Bar Ethics Advisory Committee and the Judicial Qualifications Committee. He is also a certified Circuit Court Arbitrator.

David has represented attorneys and other professionals in various high profile suits. He also represents parties in licensure and regulatory proceedings. David is an active member of both the South Carolina and Georgia bars.
